Yoga & Meditation
I began practicing yoga as a teenager. As an athlete, I was always looking for new ways to physically challenge myself but ended up being inspired by the therapeutic and transformative powers of yoga for the mind, body, and breath. Throughout my life, I have always been drawn back to my mat as a place to relieve stress, get grounded, and find balance.
Now, I am a 200 hr Yoga Alliance registered teacher, trained meditation teacher, and license eligible mental health counselor who is eager to share the benefits of yoga, breathwork, and meditation with others. I feel that yoga and meditation bring a strength, calm, and balance to daily life that everyone can profit from in some way. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for all levels of practitioners to explore, learn, and grow.
I believe that yoga should be available and accessible for every body. Therefore, I offers a variety of classes for all abilities such as Power Vinyasa Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Meditation, and Yoga Basics.
My classes emphasize proper alignment, a strong connection to the breath, and self-awareness. I strive to bring a sense of fun and freedom to my classes while imparting bits of yogic wisdom along the way. My students leave each class with a sense of empowerment, strength and energy.
